Savannah Maxwell is an Associate at Mowry & Grimson PLLC, representing clients in trade remedy actions including antidumping and countervailing duty matters as well as customs and other trade enforcement issues. Prior to joining Mowry & Grimson, Savannah worked at the U.S. Department of Commerce where she served as a Senior Attorney who advised the agency on antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings, including defending those determinations before the Court of International Trade, Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and USMCA binational panels.
Savannah is a graduate of American University Washington College of Law where she served as the Dean’s Fellow for the Trade, Investment, and Development program. During law school, she clerked for the Trade Subcommittee in the Majority House of Representatives Committee on Ways and Means, where she provided legislative assistance on the USMCA renegotiation, the 232 and 301 tariff exclusion process, as well as WTO reform. Prior to joining the Department of Commerce, Savannah also worked as law clerk at a boutique trade remedies firm.
